What if My Unit isn't Large enough? Or too large?

Please refer to our sizing guide here on the website. Occasionally, people do under or over estimate their storage needs. If we have a unit more suited to your needs, a transfer can be done.

Do you accept online payments?

Not at this time. We do accept Visa/Master Card debit and credit card payments, cash, checks, and money orders. We can do automatic withdrawal of payments and allow alternative payment dates to accommodate our tenants.

What if I need to get in after hours?

Our facility managers may make arrangements with you on a case by case basis and at their discretion. If you need access after hours, please give as much notice as possible. Our gate hours are a security measure, and therefore, access after hours is an exception.

What's the advantage of a "climate controlled unit" and should I get one?

Climate controlled units are kept at a constant 52 - 60 degrees year round, by way of radiant heat. This can be an advantage if a tenant has sensitive equipment, or is apprehensive about storing their valuables and may feel more comfortable renting a climate-controlled unit.

Do you sell moving supplies? Do you rent moving equipment?

We do not sell moving supplies, however all new tenants receive 3 complimentary moving boxes, a Shaprie pen and roll of packing tape when they rent with us. We have a dolly at the facility that you can sign out for 24 hours at our rental office.

What if I want my friend or a family member to get something from my unit for me?

You are in control of your unit, and are given a high security lock with three keys. You can give others a key at your discretion. However, if your proxy forgets your unit number we will not give them any information about you/your unit unless they are on the contract, and we have their picture ID. This is for your security.

Do you hold Auctions at the facility?

We do not sell or auction the contents of any storage unit.

Are my things safe here?

We share your concern for security, and do our best to provide a safe environment. Our security measures include live-in managers, a facility that is fenced, gated, and well lit at night. For added protection we provide each tenant with a high security lock. Unfortunately, no self-storage facility can guarantee the safety of stored belongings, any more than a person can guarantee that their own home is intruder free. This is why we also ask our tenants to refrain from storing possessions that are irreplaceable or have sentimental value. As an added precaution, we strongly urge our tenants to insure the contents of their units, and take pictures of what you store. Most homeowner's or Renter's policies will cover items in storage, and unit insurance is available by a non-affiliated 3rd party, (a brochure is made available at the time you rent your unit).

Are the leases long term? What kind of notice do I need to give if I have to move out? Do you Pro-rate?

Our rental contracts are month-to-month agreements -- No long term lease is required.  If you intend to vacate the unit between the 1st and 10th of the month, no rent is do for that month.  If you vacate your unit after the 10th, you are responsible for the whole month's rent. We pro-rate your rent when you move in, however, we do not pro-rate upon vacating the unit.  We ask that you give us a minimum of 10 days notice of your intent to vacate the unit. This can be done a variety of ways such as in person, via phone, e-mail or a note in our drop box.  On the day of your move out, just remove your lock and let us know that you have vacated your unit.

What do I need to bring with me when I want to rent a unit?

You will need to provide a valid, government issued form of color photo identification. (Driver's license, passport, etc.), and payment.

Do you have a key to my unit? What happens if I lose mine?

We do not have access to your unit. If you lose your keys, you can either call a locksmith or, during regular business hours, request that the manager call our maintenance service. Unfortunately the second option may take a few days.

Do you offer outdoor parking for autos / RVs?

No, but we offer covered storage for RVs and boats at our "sister" facilities.

What's the difference between "Gate Hours" and Office Hours? Is the facility ever closed?

During office hours, the manager is on-duty, and you can receive in-person customer service (ask questions, make payments, etc.). Gate hours are the hours you can access your unit. Our facility is open every day, including holidays. Our Office is open 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday thru Friday,  8:00am - 12:00pm on Saturdays. The Office is closed on Sundays and holidays.
